Christine Miles, Ed.D.
Founder & Director of Consulting and Design
Christine Miles is the founder, lead designer, and director of consulting for CultivatED, LLC. Her experiences include teaching at the secondary level, school-based administration, and district level curriculum supervision. In addition to this, Christine has served as the Director of Consulting Services for Grant Wiggins' Authentic Education. In this role, Christine led project proposal development, customized and facilitated professional development opportunities for clients, designed world-class curricular materials, and led AE’s highly experienced and professional consultant team. Alongside Grant, Christine engaged in strategic planning and business development initiatives as well.
Christine holds an Ed.D. (Organizational Leadership) and M.A. (Educational Leadership) from Wilmington University and a B.A. (English/Secondary Education) from The College of New Jersey.
Believing in the significance of two-way communication, Christine truly values the voices of educators. She aims to assist them in playing an active role in their professional learning by harnessing the power of collaborative teamwork. Christine is a co-founder of the Bammy Award winning Edcamp and has served on the executive board of the Edcamp Foundation, a nonprofit organization designed to facilitate local, grassroots, participant-driven professional development opportunities for educators worldwide. Christine has shared her expertise at local, regional, national, and international conferences including: ASCD, The English Companion NING Webstitute, The New Jersey Principal & Supervisor Association Leadership Conference, The NJEA Convention, and at various colleges and universities.
